Well, just when I thought this show couldn’t get any more gloriously unhinged, Episode 5 drops our dimension-hopping disaster crew into what appears to be a literal forest utopia. You would think that landing in a peaceful, perfectly harmonious society based on radical sharing would be a nice, relaxing break for Stuart, Denise, Bert, and Kripke while the fabric of the universe unravels around them. But this is the Stuart Fails crew we’re talking about.
The sheer level of interpersonal chaos on display here is just phenomenal. The episode brilliantly forces you to sit there and watch our group—particularly Kripke—absolutely fail to comprehend a society that doesn’t revolve around selfishness, personal property, and hidden catches. While the fate of the multiverse is still hanging in the balance, they are entirely unfazed, completely derailed by their own bizarre inability to just chill out in paradise. It’s chaotic, hilarious, and exactly the kind of derailed side-quest nonsense I am here for.
Even when faced with a literal utopia, the group manages a level of societal sabotage that is genuinely breathtaking. Watching them slowly corrupt a perfect world with basic earthly concepts is a masterclass in unintentional destruction. The character work here is profound, with moments of surprising depth amidst the typical cosmic chaos, and there’s a certain unexpected romance that completely upends everything you expect from this show.

An absolute 5-star triumph from start to finish that proves this show can tackle high-concept sci-fi tropes and ruin them in the best way possible. Ya love to see it!
