Bookworm is my section that will incorporate all things “book” related. Over the last few years, I have gotten more and more into reading. I became a Professional Reader for Netgalley and updated my Goodreads account. Lets take a look at what Netgalley and GoodReads are.
How Netgalley Works
NetGalley helps publishers and authors promote digital review copies to book advocates and industry professionals. Publishers make digital review copies and audiobooks available for the NetGalley community to discover, request, read, and review. As of June 23, 2025, NetGalley also launched Booktrovert — a standalone consumer marketing platform where readers can celebrate their love of books by participating in digital giveaways, special offers, and fun bookish activities, it is worth noting that the giveaways and competitions are only available in the US.
GoodReads
It is the worlds largest community of book enthusiasts and authors. Whether you want to keep track of books you are waiting to read or setting a challenge to read X number of Books a year, GoodReads has it all
